Bold Street offers a culinary culture experience like no other, and now adding to its extensive list is Laros, the new home of authentic Greek street food in Liverpool.
Living up to its namesake, which translates as delicious, the team are bringing true Greek street food, like the city has never seen before.
Greek cuisine is massive, so to ensure they serve top quality food, Laros concentrates on a small menu section of some of the country’s top street food dishes.
Priding the brand on the highest quality of authentic Greek food, ingredients, meat and dairy, it is imported directly from Greece to ensure the food tastes how it should, adding to the multicultural dining experience.
The menu selection offers mouth-watering chicken or pork gyros, chicken, pork or lamb souvlaki, No Carb Box and vegan pita wraps, Talagani cheese fries as well as an array of fresh, flavoursome authentic salads. Sauces are made from scratch including Tzatziki and Honey Mustard.
Laros is also introducing Loukoumades to Liverpool for dessert, the little sweet Greek donut balls can be served traditionally with honey syrup and chopped walnuts or throwing in a twist there is white chocolate or hazelnut filling options available.
A selection of Greek soft drinks- LOUX- orange, lemon and sour cherry, are available to give that European vibe as well as a variety of beers such as Mythos, Alfa, Fix and Keo and a selected range of local Greek wines.
Owner Nikolaos Fylladitakis said:
“The meat comes from Greece, which is very important, we have most of the Greeks in Liverpool returning saying that we are not only close to what Greece has, but even better than a lot of places in Greece”
Passionate about the service they provide, Nikolaos said:
“People say don’t change your quality, then you’re going to be where you want to be. Number one is quality of food; you have that you have everything.
“We want to provide a nice atmosphere for guests and customers, whether that’s for a quick meal, lunch or dinner”
With vegetarian and vegan options also on the menu, Laros is available to order via their website larosgreek.co.uk for collection.
Nikolaos continued: “Just come to have a taste of it, see what it actually is, and taste proper authentic Greek street food”
