Planning has been approved by LCC planning department this week for North Liverpool Bar & Restaurant, Cafe No 9 Bar & Kitchen to expand.
The expansion is set to bring more jobs at the site after Liverpool City Council signed off on their application yesterday, which comes as good news to a hospitality sector currently on its knees.
Owners Allan and Gemma Bresnahan said “We are absolutely delighted with the outcome from the hearing. We are so grateful to all those who showed us support. We are very excited for the future of cafe no9 bar and kitchen. We cannot wait to see our vision come to life.”
The venue needed to expand due its popularity, have acquired adjacent properties so that they can grow their licensed business. At a time of tier 3 in Liverpool and a hospitality industry at a real low point this is some positive news to come out of the city as new roles will need to be filled.
Allan and Gemma say, “We have gone from a small, three-seater operation to something more substantial with further room for growth. As well as being able to be of more service to the local community, and to continue to be a part of such a passionate industry, our residents have shown such valuable support for our expansion, and we know this development will offer so much in return.”
