With the arrival of Storm Dennis this weekend, adverse weather warnings are to be expected over the coming days. Merseyrail has advised that there will be some timetable changes affecting customers travelling on its Wirral line.
Storm Dennis is expected to arrive on Saturday with high wind and heavy rain warnings in place from midday Saturday until the end of the day on Sunday.
Due to the expected poor weather conditions forecast, an amended timetable will operate on the Chester and Ellesmere Port lines on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 February with some extended journey times.
