Zest Liverpool, an independent commercial radio station which broadcasts from Liverpool, is celebrating its 6th year on the air.
A spokesperson at the station said:
“This Easter Sunday 17 April marks a very special time for Zest. We are very proud to continue to reflect our area. The radio landscape has changed so much with former local stations now networking nationally”.
Through founder Phil England Zest is also involved in four small scale DAB multiplex applications. The first of these to-air will be Exeter and a South West service from Zest is planned. Three other areas are in the pipeline pending decisions from Ofcom.
“We’d like to thank our listeners and commercial partners for their continued support and we are totally committed to making our 6th year on-air our best yet.”
Zest can be heard on digital radio, via many apps including their own and at zestliverpool.com
