This August Bank Holiday Sunday, a huge food and drink festival is coming to Ormskirk, featuring food and drink stalls, live cooking demonstrations, market stalls, live music, and more! Ormskirk Festival is a free event taking place on Sunday 25th August from 11am until 8pm in Ormskirk town centre and is a family and dog-friendly event.

The food and drink extravaganza will feature a mouthwatering selection of food from around the world, from wood-fired pizzas to kebabs, and a variety of street food in between. Visitors can enjoy live cooking demonstrations from local celebrity chef Dave Critchley, while there’ll be plenty of bars offering everything from craft beers to cocktails.

There’ll be market stalls and farm shops selling a range of artisan goods, while there’ll be top live entertainment on offer throughout the day from some of the best local artists and bands around. Liverpool Live Radio will provide live coverage of the event, offering the public the opportunity to participate.

The free family-friendly festival will have plenty of things on offer to keep the kids entertained, with free face painting, free bungie trampolines, a free bucking bronco, and plenty of toy stalls. For parents wondering how to keep their kids entertained this Bank Holiday, Ormskirk Festival offers something for all the family.

One of the year’s highlights in the quaint market town, the huge free event will celebrate the rich food and drink culture our region has to offer. Hosted in partnership with West Lancashire Borough Council, the event will offer free parking to accommodate those wanting to travel from further afield.
