The Watering Can launches new Summer menu and extended opening hours

The sun is shining, the Garden Room shutters are up to take in the park view, and the venue is in full bloom as The Watering Can launches a seasonal summer menu and extended opening hours to make the most of the mini heatwave!

Liverpool’s most loved Café Bistro has introduced a menu bursting with flavour and as colourful as the interior planting to tantalise the tastebuds and make the most of the beautiful weather. Guests will also be able to dine later, as the venue will now close at 8pm with last orders in the kitchen at 6pm.

The Watering Can launches new Summer menu and extended opening hours

A mouth-watering selection of snacks, sandwiches, starters, big plates, salads, and sides is available to satisfy those wanting a healthy or hearty feast.

Sandwiches include Roast Beef Rump, with crispy onions, parmesan shavings, tomato, rocket, wholegrain mustard mayonnaise on a toasted ciabatta (£12), IPA Beer Battered Coley Goujons, lettuce, home-made tartare sauce served on a toasted brioche (£11), and Falafel and Roasted Mediterranean Vegetables, red onion, tomato, spinach, vegan mayonnaise, siracha chilli sauce, warm tortilla wrap (£8).

Whether you want a starter or a selection of sharing plates, the Watering Can favourites are on the menu including – Mini Chicken Tikka Skewers, Falafel and Hummus, Whipped Vegan Feta and Patatas Bravas.

Main courses are equally as  sumptuous and include a Home-made Rump Steak and Marrowfat Burger, mature Cheddar cheese, tomato, red onion, lettuce, burger sauce, crispy onions, gherkins on a toasted brioche bun (£13),  Roast Chicken Supreme, in a pancetta, white wine and tarragon cream sauce with tender-stem broccoli and chunky chips (£17). A selection of delicious pasta dishes are also available.

Seasonal salads are also on the menu, full of flavour, colour, and texture for a healthy yet filling option!

And no Watering Can menu would be complete without the sides of Chunky Chips, Skinny Fries, Truffle and Parmesan Fries and Pan Fried Halloumi with Chilli Jam.

So whether you are looking to brunch, lunch, or watch the sun go down while enjoying delicious food, chilled beers, cocktails, or a selection of wines, The Watering Can has a stunning new menu for you to enjoy all day and into the early evening.
