St George's Hall call for volunteers to support new visitor experience

As St George’s Hall embark on an exciting new chapter, they are getting set to open a new visitor attraction, The St George’s Hall Experience: The History Whisperer™.

To help with this journey, the team are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who are willing to give a minimum of three hours per week to assist in bringing the Hall and its stories alive for the public.

Volunteers will help with reception and orientation duties, and will play an integral role in the operation of the attraction.

Opening date is to be announced, but we anticipate that we will require the services of our new volunteer cohort from August 2021.

If you would like to get involved with this new innovative experience and become part of the St George’s Hall family, please email sharon.clare@liverpool.gov.uk with a short paragraph about yourself and why you wish to volunteer with St George’s Hall…

It could be that you’re looking for something new to do with your downtime. Or that you’re wishing to build work experience to help you become more employable. It may even be that you’re a resident who just wants to give back to your city. OR that you just want to get up close and personal with this exciting new visitor experience! Whatever the reason, the team are extremely excited to hear from you (and to hopefully work with you in the not too distant future!)…

Please note: Applicants must be aged 18 and above – all ages from that point on are welcome!

More information about #TheHistoryWhisperer can be found here, with plenty more details to be revealed in the not too distant future! Thank you for taking the time to consider this opportunity to volunteer with St George’s Hall.
