Smithdown Weekender returns this month for 3-day celebration

Next week, the Smithdown Weekender returns for another unforgettable weekend of live music, DJs, art, and literature.

Since 2015, the Smithdown Road Festival has been a fixture on the Liverpool music scene calendar, and in recent years, an extra weekend before winter has been added.

This event, which takes place from October 13th to 15th, is completely free and features some of the best established and emerging musical talent in the region.

Smithdown Weekender returns this month for 3-day celebration

A range of styles and acts including Silent-K, Hushtones, Liverpool Indie Choir, Plazzybag, Black Parade, Sh*t Indie Disco, The Buffalo Riot, Conleth McGeary and many more will perform at venues stretching from Penny Lane to Woodcroft Road.

New stages include Leaf, Love Bar and Penny Lane Wine Bar. Event ever presents Handyman Bar and Black Cat will be providing the main stages and overall there’s 12 venues involved.

Although free in each venue will be taking donations for The Whitechapel Centre, a charity which the event has supported since day one.
