Welcome to The Plaza Community Cinema run by volunteers a unique community resource that offers dynamic film based education programmes to schools, the voluntary sector and the general public.
The Plaza provides a warm place for locals to gather during the winter months, which run from October to March.
The Plaza Community Cinema offers Autism / Disability Friendly Screenings that will maintain a low lighting level in the auditorium and will play the soundtrack at a reduced volume.
The Plaza also offers Dementia Friendly Screenings offering classic movies, musicals and archive films specially selected to trigger memories. The event will be staffed with Dementia Friends, trained by the Alzheimer’s Society.
