Merseyrail announce restored timetable during strike action

Following the announcement on Friday of the suspension of national industrial action by Network Rail staff who are members of the RMT union, Merseyrail have been able to restore a full, normal timetable on all parts of the network for Monday 7th and Wednesday 9th November 2022.

In addition, the later start to services planned for Tuesday 8th and Thursday 10th November will also now not take place, with a full, normal timetable operating.

There will however be some disruption for customers using St Michaels station on the Hunts Cross line, which is partially closed on the 8th and 9th November for the planned replacement of station flooring. Customers intending to travel via St Michaels on either date are advised to visit our website or social media channels before they travel for full information.

Passengers using the Merseyrail network to connect with trains run by other operators are strongly advised to check before they travel, as many operators are offering a limited-service next week.
