  • Editor

Mellowtone have announced that their ‘Mellowtone 15′ exhibition is now on display at the Handyman Supermarket, Smithdown Road, Liverpool.

‘Mellowtone 15’ is an exhibition of fifteen original screenprints featuring artwork by fifteen different artists, that originally appeared on Mellowtone posters and flyers.

Art, design and illustration have always been a cornerstone of what we do at Mellowtone. Always printed, and consistently monochrome.  ‘Mellowtone 15’ is an exhibition of fifteen original screenprints celebrating this. The show, originally displayed at Buyers Club in 2019, features artwork by fifteen different artists, in limited editions of fifteen, with each print on sale for (yes…) fifteen pounds. Each image has been lovingly hand-printed by Johanna Wilson at Liverpool studio The Paper Moon.

50% of all proceeds will be donated to local charities, including the Florrie, Mandela8, Granby Toxteth Development Trust, The Whitechapel Centre, St Brides Foodbank, and Claire House.

The exhibition is open at the Handyman Supermarket, 461 Smithdown Rd, Liverpool L15 3JL.

Prints are also available for sale online here.

The exhibition includes design and illustration from 2004 – 2019, with work from artists Charles Williams, Amber Badger, Laura-Kate Draws, Thomas James Butler, Danny Allison, Michael Snowdon (The Microcosm), Sketchstance, Johanna Wilson (That Girl), Toucan Tango, Eimear Kavanagh, Paul Donnelly, Jack Ehlen, Mak.Ink, Iouka, and Andrew Berry.
