Liverpool’s newest and most stylish Irish sports bar Dicey Reilly’s on Wolstenholme Square has opened just in time for its Derby Day debut next Wednesday.
As Everton take on Liverpool at Goodison Park, the traditional bar oozing quality and style with all the friendliness of a traditional Irish pub has the best seats outside of the stadium to watch the match!
The 2,500sq ft venue has seating for 120 guests with standing room for an additional 50 people. Boasting 10 Ultra HD TV’s with a fully integrated sound system, including 4 snugs with private screens. There is also a giant 3 meter screen on the ground floor for added atmosphere. The comfortable, classic snugs can accommodate up to 8 people and can be pre-booked for big sporting occasions (T’s and C’s apply).
The modern, quirky venue is warm and welcoming with a mix of emerald greens, light and dark wood finishes as well as some industrial touches, brought together in a modern way whilst still giving more than a nod to the classic Irish pub.
The venue will show a full schedule of sport including football, rugby, Gaelic football and hurling, golf, racing, boxing and F1. Opening Monday-Thursday from 3pm until 11pm, Friday and Saturday from 12.00pm to 11.45pm, and Sundays from midday until 11pm.
Live music will entertain customers on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings and artists will sing a selection of lively modern favourites with a smattering of traditional Irish tunes for good measure!
If watching sport makes you peckish, Dicey’s has that covered with a selection of home-cooked pub grub favourites including loaded wedges, a selection of pies, burgers and freshly made sandwiches.
And if speciality beers are your thing, you will be spoilt for choice at Dicey’s, with 12 draft lines serving a range of IPA’s including Salt Jute, a range of Galway Hooker’s and more Irish favourites being added over the coming weeks. It goes without saying, that they are also serving a great pint of Guinness!
General Manager at Dicey Reilly’s, Joe Reilly said:
“We wanted to create an Irish bar in a modern setting whilst still being true to traditional Irish culture, we are striving to bring the old and new together in one venue. We are in the heart of a residential area of the city centre with over 450 apartments in Wolstenholme Square alone, we want to become a hub for the community as well as a good old fashioned local!”
