Luxe Collective, the pre-loved luxury retailer, had a successful pop-up activation at Liverpool ONE.
The immersive “Real vs. Fake” fashion experience, which was the brand’s first North West activation, attracted large crowds to participate in the fun audience challenge and competition as well as the unique chance to discuss everything pre-owned luxury with the brand’s founders.
Situated on Paradise Street, the Luxe Collective activation tested the public’s ability to differentiate between authentic and fake designer handbags, with the chance to win an authentic Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM tote bag for one discerning participant.
In 2018, the brothers Joe and Ben Gallagher co-founded Luxe Collective in Liverpool. Since then, the company has grown to become one of the fastest-growing brands in the UK’s pre-owned luxury market and has even secured funding through the BBC’s Dragon’s Den. The brand offers pre-owned designer apparel, including bags, accessories, and shoes, and enables consumers to buy and sell items directly to Luxe Collective through carefully curated social media content and a rigorous authentication process.
Liverpool ONE has established a solid reputation for giving regional and virtual brands the chance to test their ideas in a physical space. Leading online women’s active streetwear brand Red Run made its debut retail flagship at the destination, which has hosted popular North West-based fashion brand ARNE twice in the past year and welcomes brands to thrive through creative pop-ups and physical retail environments.
Rob Deacon, Asset Management Director at Liverpool ONE, said:
“Championing best in class local and online brands is one of our key commitments at Liverpool ONE and it was brilliant to see the response to Luxe Collective’s activation last weekend. Supporting initiatives and providing new experiences for our visitors continues to place Liverpool ONE as one of the leading retail and entertainment destinations in Europe, which in turn sustains strong demand from leading brands.”
Ben Gallagher, co-Founder and Head of Social Media at Luxe Collective Fashion, added:
“Showcasing Luxe Collective at our Real vs. Fake event in Liverpool ONE last weekend was a huge leap forward in our brand journey. It was great to meet our followers face to face, share stories and get to know our community better. Coupled with our appearance on Dragon’s Den and significant investment earlier this month, we’re moving in a strong direction, and we’re excited to see the success we can achieve in 2024.”
This announcement comes after the most recent news that Liverpool ONE has signed British fashion and lifestyle brand White Stuff, the first of several new brands expected to join the destination’s best-in-class lineup in 2024.
