Duke Street Market

The newest addition to the city’s popular food market scene, Duke Street Market has now opened its door and is one to add to your street food tasting bucket list.

The market is situated in a restored 100-year-old warehouse and is home to city’s finest independent brands. The market houses a 60-cover showpiece restaurant, 6 kitchens, a sushi bar and a variety of artisanal produce and speciality drinks, all of which offer a unique foodie experience!

Vendors include Specialising in open wood fire cooking and dishes to share – CINDER, Cuban street food masters – FINCA, family operated Italian – Cucina di Vincenzo, red meat specialists Bone & Block, 100% plant-based catering company Indigo Greens and taking residence at the top floor of the venue – Pilgrim.

Whilst the 40 covers restaurant offers a unique dining experience, the bar overlooking the open kitchen is the buzzing focal point of the venue, set on a mezzanine and sunny terrace, all overlooking the bustling food and drink market.

Baltic Market

Stanhope Street, Cains Brewery, Liverpool, L8 5XJ

Opening the city’s eyes to what the food market scene is all about is the King of the crop, the Baltic Market. Celebrating its 2nd birthday recently, this food market is a gift that keeps on giving. Located in the popular haunt Cains Brewery, the venue offers mouth-watering food, a great selection of drinks and live music and events all under one roof.

Current food vendors tingling your taste buds include PICNIC, Pattersons, Hafla Hafla, Little Furnace and many more. Menu favourites include the places signature dish Halloumi Fries and wood-fired Neapolitan style pizzas, let’s face it, was you even in the Baltic Market if you didn’t have the famous fries??

Proving that dining doesn’t have to be all about eating one particular type of food in one place, the Baltic continues to offer a variety of tasty food and drinks for all to indulge in. Marine Street Social

Unit 6 Marine Point, New Brighton, CH45 2HZ

Marine Street Social is located at the stunning Marine Point, New Brighton and when paying a visit, you will not be disappointed. The venue offers something different to the area, not just another pub/grub rendezvous, MSS offers a cool, chilled ambience and an array of delicious food to try as well as a great selection of beers, cocktails and of course new social favourite drink Gin.

The seating area of tables and benches is not only a great way to catch up and enjoy conversations with your counterparts, but also a friendly way to meet new people if sharing a table. The interior is spot on trend with the new love of ceiling greenery, flowers and foliage cascade from the ceiling, giving the venue a fresh colourful appearance.

Also set for the Summer the venue will opening their terrace to soak up some rays while enjoying some dam good grub and ice cool beverages!

Current food vendors on site are Asian food favourites Chopsticks, international Chicken street food masters Jojo’s Chicken, Smokehouse BBQ Cowfish, Equal Pizza and Marine Street Grill and if it’s a sweet tooth you crave then Goodie’s will fulfil your needs.

Dockside Dining Club

Mann Island, Liverpool, L3 1BP

Dockside Dining Club is a proud independent multi-vendor casual food hall and social space that landed at the Pier Head last summer, which offers universal appeal, catering for all dietary requirements around the clock, every day of the week. With a vibrant and eclectic mix of events, market stalls, food traders and beverage offerings, this exciting contemporary venue is new to the docks appealing to all; tourists and out of town clientele, whilst merging with the lively local scene at bustling Castle Street and The Royal Albert Dock. The stunning views of the waterfront are a bonus, especially on a beautiful summers day.

As well as several exciting food concepts which are new to Liverpool, Dockside Dining Club have some impressive independents joining them too! With vendors such as Award-winning desserts from Treat, Clukin Delicious, El Cupido, Cowfish Smokehouse, KO Grill and sushi specialists HAKU.

Not only offering a dining experience like no other, Dockside also host regular events with a variety of classes including children’s and adult’s yoga, meditation, Pilates, mindfulness, exercise classes and several wellbeing workshops.  Market stalls will have independent traders offering a selection of products which will consist of vintage, vegan prints, crystal jewellery, boho clothing and accessories, naturally handmade beauty products, skin care, candles, fresh bread, homemade chutneys, jams, preserves and so much more.

Woodside Ferry Village

Woodside Ferry Terminal, Birkenhead, CH41 6DU

An amazing new addition to the communal style of eating is Woodside Ferry Village, a brand-new food hall which has opened on Wirral’s waterfront in Birkenhead.

Led by the Woodside Area Community Interest Group, Vendors at the new venue include Liverpool based Bacaro – creating freshly made pizzas, dishes using homemade doughs and Bacaro special recipes, The award winning Caffe Cream – provide brunch, lunch and dessert options through cooked breakfasts – with locally sourced ingredients, its own Wirral roasted coffee and homemade dairy and vegan ice cream, Cowfish Smokehouse – authentic American-styled BBQ street foods will be well-prepared, quality produce using traditional artisan Texan smoking methods, EastZEast – offering authentic foods of the Punjab, cooked fresh with traditional spices, The Refreshment Rooms – offering a successful Gastro Pub menu and Sukhothai – offers an authentic taste of Thailand through a range of Thai street foods
