Dr. Howard Stringer has so far raised £9,400 for the suicide prevention charity. Similarly to the Peter Moore Foundation who in May of last year donated £10k to James’ Place, a male suicide prevention centre.

Founded in 2018, the Peter Moore Foundation has donated to and assisted multiple organisations around Merseyside from Fans Supporting Foodbanks to Homebaked Anfield.

This week, the Peter Moore Foundation matched the money raised from LFC Foundation’s annual charity day, an incredible £10,000. The foundation continues to inspire hope and support the Merseyside community.

Alexandra, who moved to the UK just over a year ago states her excitement with continuing to help her new local community.

As a thank you to all the people that have supported him through this journey Doctor Speedo will continue to run 5km every day for each £100 over the initial target of £500 that has been donated.

Before starting this years fundraising challenge Dr. Stringer said:

2020 has been an extremely challenging year for everyone and has highlighted to me the huge importance of recognising and appreciating your own and others’ mental health. I have decided to repeat my running feat, with a twist.

Not only do I hope to bring the occasional smile to walkers and runners along the Liverpool docks, but I will be raising money for @calmzone, the Campaign Against Living Miserably. As a leading movement against suicide, they work with people to push for a life less miserable for you, your friends, your family, and, well, everyone.
