Liverpool is set to be home to another magnificent rooftop cocktails restaurant this July, when the luxury venue Liberté opens its doors. Located on Brunswick Street, on the third floor of the Bentley Building on the Strand, this new addition offers stunning views of the beautiful Waterfront, the sublime Three Graces and panoramic views of our radiant city.
The name Liberté, meaning freedom, was chosen to reflect the venues New York influence. With views of the river Mersey in the backdrop it was important to keep some of the city’s grand heritage and the statue of Liberty being the first Landmark you see when travelling on the infamous Liverpool – New York cruise line route. Due to open the end of this month, and with a connecting rooftop bar set to be the largest flat top roof terrace in the city, following later in the year, drinks with a view sounds delightful.
So, what can we expect from Liberté? With inspiration from some of New York’s top bars, the décor offers bright colours, graffiti style art and neon lighting married with unrivalled views, this is one location hot spot you need to be attending.
The bar restaurant will be open 7 days a week from noon until 2.00am and will be featuring an extensive list of unique cocktails along with a wide range of spirits, wines and beers. Along with a casual fine dining style Pan Asian inspired food menu there will also be a specialist brunch offering, which more details are to be revealed soon.
John Gilchrist and Jonathan Ryder have been developing the cocktail menu say “The list is composed of innovative and quality cocktails to emulate the interior design and concept. Our bartenders will undergo a stringent training programme in order to deliver the drinks to the standard our customers will come to expect. The bar itself has been designed ergonomically with the highest specification equipment for speed of service and a to deliver entertaining and delicious drinks.”
The swanky venue will also be hosting weekly entertainment which will include DJs, saxophonist and percussionists, making this new haunt a place to visit on your next social meet.
