Authentic fermented food and drinks producer, The Fermentation Station are raising funds to help support the fit out of their new home at The Matchworks in Speke, and need your help to reach their Crowdfunder goal.
With only a few days left to reach their goal, Founders Amy and Sam are calling upon support to get them across the final finish line to turn their dreams into a reality.
The Fermentation Station grew out of a real passion for food, the community it creates, the traditions it harbours, and the cultures it engages. Wherever there’s love, there’s food, and the festive tradition of making homemade hampers for their loved ones, grew into experimenting with new products and recipes.
The purpose of The Fermentation Station was to create authentic, unique and probiotic ferments that are focused on sustainability. We have six core products that we produce and ferment all year round. However the majority of their ferments are seasonally focused. The Fermentation Station work closely with local farmers, producers and green grocers on what fruit and vegetables are currently in the British season, and using those ingredients they create unique and diverse ferments that are preserved for future seasons to come.
The new home offers the greatest opportunity for Amy and Sam to grow, including expanding their team. Not only can they create bigger batches of ferments, they can also continue their passion for fighting food waste, raising awareness of gut health and creating a greater community around workshops & educational classes – supporting and involving the local community is so important.
In order to make this the best version of the space possible, The Fermentation Station are crowdfunding for support in fitting the space out. Already upgrading a lot of their equipment to prepare for scaling up production, the money raised from the Crowdfunder is solely dedicated to the set-up of what Amy and Sam dream with be an all encompassing new home for TFS.
