The first seven players to sign up to play for LFC Legends against Ajax Legends at Anfield on March 23 at 3pm have been announced as Champions League winners and record signings.

Goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek, who saved Istanbul’s season, and fellow stopper Sander Westerveld will be back in action, along with confirmed defenders Martin Skrtel, Fabio Auerlio, and Gregory Vignal for the LFC Foundation charity match, which is sponsored by AXA, the team’s official training partner.

Djibril Cisse, a one-time record signing, and Ryan Babel, a former Reds and Ajax forward who will feature for both sides, are two of LFC Legends’ attacking options.

In due course, the entire management team for the annual match in collaboration with Forever Reds, the official former player association of the League of Football Clubs, will be revealed.

The LFC Foundation and its partner charities will benefit from 100% of the ticket sales proceeds, which will be used to change the lives of young people in the Liverpool City Region and beyond.

Tickets for the match are priced at £28 for adults, £8 for juniors and £18 for over 65s and can be purchased online here. Disabled supporters can visit the Accessibility Hub for full sale details.

Premium tickets are available from £50 and hospitality tickets start at £150. Please click here for more details.
