SERIES ONE – EDITION EIGHT
In the eighth edition in our Faces of Liverpool series we caught up with Christopher Thompson, aged 27 from Walton; a Training Commercial Pilot.
What do you love about Liverpool?
The thing I love most about Liverpool is the amazing upcoming bar and restaurant scenes around Bold Street and Castle Street. For me, there’s nothing better than spending a warm evening out with friends sitting outside on either street people watching and immersing myself in the atmosphere. I also love the architecture that often goes unnoticed unless you stop and look around Castle street which adds more of a historical atmosphere.
Name one main thing about living in Liverpool that makes you proud?
The main thing I’m proud of is the city’s warmth and hospitality which you don’t often see in other cities. Though a city, I love the fact its big enough and friendly enough to meet someone new every time you go out but also small enough that there is a real community spirit.
If you could describe Liverpool in 3 words what would they be?
Historic, Welcoming & Banterful.
Name one place in Liverpool that holds a special place in your heart?
Concert Square is full of fun memories from my Sixth Form and Uni days but continues to create shenanigans!
Is there anything on your ‘Bucket List’ to do in Liverpool that your still yet to achieve?
Still haven’t visited OH ME OH MY! Invitations welcome.
Do you have any tales of Liverpool or claim to fame while in the city?
I’m normally that annoying aircraft flying around the city centre at night waking everybody up. Sorry guys.
