Everton Ambassadors share important foodbank message in lead up to Christmas

Everton’s Ambassadors are helping raise awareness of how the public can still donate to local foodbanks in time for Christmas – and help people across the city when it is needed most.

Graeme Sharp, Ian Snodin and Graham Stuart made their own donation of items to North Liverpool Foodbank while also explaining how people can donate food, which items are most needed and how to donate online.

Graeme Sharp, Everton’s Player’s Life President said:

“Everton fans, and the wider Liverpool community have been fantastic in their generosity this year, especially during lockdown and after the suspension of the regular Fans Supporting Foodbanks matchday collections.

“With Christmas on the way, those donations are needed more than ever. With restrictions easing, foodbanks are accepting donations in person, but if you can’t get there, you can still donate online or by text. There’s still time to make a big difference to someone’s Christmas.”
