LV Pilates nestled in the heart of Liverpool City Centre just off Dale Street, takes traditional Pilates to the next level with the venue’s reformer Pilates classes.
Aimed at strengthening, toning and supporting with balance, flexibility and mobility, the classes are suitable for anyone as exercises can be adapted to suit individual needs.
Specialising in Reformer Pilates, the reformer machine uses different levels of resistance springs to work both large and small muscle groups. As with mat Pilates, Reformer Pilates caters for all wanting to try a new form of exercise.
Founded by Jen Clarke, LV Pilates was created on the back of her involvement in a car accident that left her with spinal injuries, nerve damage to her hip and leg, as well as some issues with her bladder.
Inspired by her rehab where Jen’s physiotherapist advised her to try out a local Pilates class, the love of the classes resulted in her signing up for a personal training qualification and studies in Pilates.
In 2017, Jen started to teach her first Pilates classes, after her interest in how both Pilates and strength training in the gym can help those with injuries or health issues.
Alongside mat Pilates classes, Jen works with many clients on a 1-2-1 basis in order to tailor to individual needs.
Levels available at LV Pilates include all Levels Standard Reformer, Beginner Reformer, Cardio Reformer, Private Mat Pilates and Private Reformer.
Reformer classes take a maximum of 4 people per class. Classes are priced at £20.00 per session pay as you go, or £175.00 for a 10 Class Pass (£17.50 per class) that must be used within 6 months.
Private mat Pilates for 1: £22, for 2: £25
Private Reformer sessions: £35 for 1 person, £30 each for 2 people, £25 each for 3 people, £20 each for 4 people.
