Customers who make bookings for a festive Sunday roast between now and Christmas Eve at The Watering Can, one of Liverpool’s most well-known venues, can “Have a drink on them!”
The owners of the stunning location in Greenbank Park are giving customers a celebratory drink from the staff in appreciation of their outstanding support this year, with just three Sundays left until the big day.
With a festive makeover, the beloved Watering Can Roast, now known as “As good as ya ma’s,” is offering a delicious two-course menu for £26 on the next two Sundays, along with a complimentary glass of prosecco or bottle of beer.
Free Range Norfolk Black Turkey Breast, Pork and Cranberry Stuffing, Yorkshire Pudding, Roasted Carrots with Maple Syrup, Kale, Broccoli and Gravy have taken the place of the Chicken Roast. Truffle Cauliflower Cheese, Roasted Sprouts with Chestnuts and Pancetta, and Festive Cranberry Pigs in Blankets are some of the side dishes to try.
Owner, Keith Perryman, said:
“Our Sunday Roasts are incredibly popular and are regularly fully booked, with customers travelling from miles around to enjoy them. We wanted to thank our guests for their custom and wish them a Merry Christmas, so we decided we would let them have a drink on us in the run up to Christmas”.
There are just two Sundays left, so act quickly as bookings are filling up quickly. Reserve a table as soon as possible to enjoy a festive roast that is “as good as ya ma’s” and a drink on The Watering Can.
‘Have a drink on us’ applies to guests ordering the Festive Roast. The Festive Roast will not be served on Sunday 24th December.
