The Lake House has announced the opening of “The Lawn,” its new outdoor dining and drinking area, with spring quickly approaching.

With its official opening on Friday, March 15, The Lawn, which is tucked away against the charming backdrop of Marine Lake, promises to be the ideal gathering spot as the warmer months draw near.

The newly redesigned Lawn area allows guests to enjoy a stunning outdoor dining and drinking area. The area has been expanded to include five roomy, weatherproof huts that offer the ideal vantage point for admiring the views of Marine Lake.

The Lawn offers everything one could want, be it a charming place for a romantic dinner for two or a lively venue for a get-together with friends.

The Lawn has a new outdoor kitchen and bar that will serve a menu of delectable small plates, traditional Italian dishes like lasagne and primavera rigatoni and mouthwatering paninis. In addition to beer, wine and cocktails, an outdoor bar will provide coffee and tea for visitors to enjoy while basking in the sun.

Visitors to The Lawn will also be able to take advantage of live broadcasts of significant events on a large-screen TV. Whether you’re rooting for England to win the European Cup or watching the iconic moments at Wimbledon, The Lawn guarantees you won’t miss a second of the action.

The Lake House is a great place to meet up with loved ones because it’s conveniently close to South Road in Waterloo. Following leisurely strolls along the Crosby Coastal Path or discovery of Antony Gormley’s ‘Another Place’ at Crosby Beach, The Lake House offers a warm and inviting retreat to relax and revisit memorable moments.

Tyra Leeming, General Manager at The Lake House, said:

“We are thrilled to introduce The Lawn as a unique outdoor dining space.

“The Lawn looks amazing with all the work that has been done. The addition of the huts and new food and drink stations will really help us increase our offering to everyone who visits. Roll on the spring and summer!”
