Then join in the fun this May when the festival of Rugby – Dacia Magic Weekend heads to Liverpool, at the iconic Anfield Stadium on 25th & 26th May!

Offering a full round of Betfred Super League fixtures providing plenty of entertainment with an average of 50 points scored per game, the event also boasts a packed fanzone, special guests, DJs and plenty of interactive fun and games.

Not forgetting 6 mouth-watering clashes on the pitch, including the top four teams from the 2018 Betfred Super League season rounding off each day with Wigan taking on Warrington on Saturday night, and St Helens battling it out with Castleford on Sunday.

With Anfield being the venue for England’s second test win against New Zealand recently, now all 12 Super League clubs will have the opportunity to play in front of the world-famous Kop.

Super League chief executive Robert Elstone said: “On behalf of the Super League clubs, we’re delighted to be taking the Dacia Magic Weekend to one of the most famous stadiums in the world.

“Anfield and Liverpool Football Club have embraced our sport – throughout all our discussions on the Magic Weekend, they made it very clear to us that they wanted that relationship to continue. The game should be proud that Anfield has become a rugby league venue.”

The Magic Weekend will be shown on Sky Sports with all games screened live.

Pass Out System

A pass out/return system is being operated on both event days allowing spectators to move freely to and from the stadium bowl – there is no limit on the number of times someone is allowed to pass out and re-enter.

Alcohol Policy 

The stadium rigorously enforces its Challenge 25 alcohol policy. ID is requested if the purchaser looks under 25. Alcohol is permitted in the stadium bowl.


In partnership with Liverpool FC and Seat Serve, fans at Anfield can order a range of food and drinks direct to their seat – so you never need miss that match winning try or huge hit.

Magical Beatles Museum

Magic Weekend ticket holders can receive a 20% discount on entry to the Magical Beatles Museum on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th May.

Capital FM

Supporters heading to this year’s Dacia Magic Weekend at the iconic Anfield Stadium will be able to enjoy plenty of entertainment in the Fan Zone across the weekend.

Anfield Road will host the main fan area with a live stage hosted by Capital FM and Rugby AM with special guests and chances to win prizes from Betfred Super League partners. There’ll be plenty of food and drink on offer all around the stadium.


If you’re heading to Anfield as a family, then the Anfield Road Family Park will offer plenty of fun activities, family entertainers as well as food and drink stalls.

Fans are encouraged to enjoy the atmosphere in the Fan Zone, hosted by Rugby AM as well as watch six great games on the iconic Anfield pitch.

Movember’s ManVan, in association with Rugby League Cares will be returning to Magic Weekend giving fans the opportunity to get a haircut, beard trim as well as get information about men’s mental and physical wellbeing.

In-Bowl Host

Will Perry, Eorl Crabtree and Robbie Hunter-Paul will host the 2019 Dacia Magic Weekend at Anfield.

The trio will conduct in-bowl activities, stadium analysis, pre-game entertainment and player interviews.
