The legends behind New Bird Street’s favourite haunt The Botanical Garden, are proud to present their latest venture, Sub Rosa.
Bringing you more coolness than you can shake a stick at, Sub Rosa located on Kings Dock Street delivers all the thrills and spills of outdoor drinking and street food at hand.
In what was previously an abandon warehouse, the city’s latest hideaway sanctuary gives off funky industrial vibes with seating pods and covered areas. From rustic recycled supermarket trolley bays transformed into bougee booths, chunky tiered wooden steps for outdoor seating and old school canteen dinning stools, Sub Rosa offers more than your average beer garden.
Not to fret if the sun hasn’t got it hat on upon your visit, there is plenty of areas of cover to keep out any summertime sadness.
Also bringing to the table their very own craft beer brewed from Black Lodge Brewery accompanying Sub Rosa’s signature black cat branding, the team describe it as “a tasty crisp lager that goes well with good times and sunshine!”
That’s not all, expect service with style with their very own beverage bike bringing ice cool canned drinks to your table. Along with craft beers, you can also indulge in an amazing selection of tasty gins and cocktail goodness.
Food traders will operate in two month blocks out of a food trailer located within the venue, as well as a pop-up retail outlet that will host different businesses on a weekly basis.
The quirky outdoor place nestled in the city’s Baltic Triangle will be open throughout the summer until September, seven days a week from 12.00pm-10.00pm, available for walk-ins.
Sub Rosa, which translates as ‘Happening or done in secret’ but the question is can you keep Liverpool’s latest edition a secret for long? We hope not, so spread the word…
