Lu Ban Liverpool located in Cains Brewery Village has become one of Liverpool’s most popular celebrity haunts and has welcomed many famous faces from entertainment, stage, screen and sporting legends over the years.
Last year’s Eurovision Song Contest runner-up Sam Ryder surprised the team and guests last night with a last minute booking for him and his friends as he enjoys his time in Liverpool promoting the event in May. The party enjoyed plenty of Lu Ban’s vegetarian and vegan dishes and Sam was incredibly complimentary about the venue, the food and the staff.
Enjoying the atmosphere of the main restaurant Sam and his friends were relaxed and clearly enjoying his time in the city.
Executive Chef Director of Lu Ban, Dave Critchley, said:
“As the excitement builds to one of the biggest nights in Liverpool’s history, we were delighted to welcome Sam Ryder and his friends.
They were incredibly complimentary of the restaurant, the food and the team and were clearly enjoying Lu Ban. Sam was warm and welcoming and made an effort with everyone around him. We have cooked for many celebrity guests at Lu Ban, but it was a real pleasure to host Sam and his friends last night.
He seemed like he was enjoying the Eurovision journey and more than happy to pose for pictures. We hope to see him again during his time in the city in May”.
