Profit for purpose platform, So Lets Talk have teamed up with Liverpool’s leading experiential venue PINS Social Club for Random Acts of Kindness Day, to share some kindness across the city.
Random Acts of Kindness Day takes place on February 17th, a dedicated day to kindness and taking that extra, conscious step to brighten somebody’s day.
PINS Social Club and So Lets Talk will mark the occasion with a series of posters displayed across the city of Liverpool, sharing a random act of kindness with anyone who scans the QR code receiving a free game of bowling for two at the popular Duke Street venue.
The collaboration between PINS Social Club and So Lets Talk was inspired by the work of Feel Good Club in Manchester and their Blue Monday campaign and looked to do something similar in Liverpool.
Speaking on the campaign, Patrick Howley, founder of So Lets Talk said:
“It’s been a tough few years for us all, and to spread a little bit of kindness and cheer, we’re so grateful to have teamed up with PINS Social Club to mark Random Acts of Kindness Day this year. From friends to family, we just want people to get together and have some fun and just provide that little bit of kindness that the world often needs.”
Daniel Gillbanks, Co-Founder of PINS Social Club added:
“We’re delighted to be working with So Lets Talk. It’s an initiative that’s close to our hearts as our team’s welfare is paramount, especially coming out of such uncertain times. We hope that this week’s campaign will go someway to raising a smile and offer some fun in a gloomy February!”
So Lets Talk provides education and support on all aspects of mental, physical and financial health inside of the hospitality industry.
The Platform was created by Patrick Howley in January 2020. Howley has spent well over a decade in the hospitality industry, where ‘earning his stripes’ led to a destructive cycle of long hours, disrupted sleeping patterns, poor nutrition, high alcohol consumption and recreational drug use.
The decision to create ‘So Lets Talk’ was inspired by Howley’s experiences and lessons learned in not having an avenue for help during his time of need. He hopes to support others in a similar situation.
Spread across three large floors, PINS Social Club offers guests a truly immersive experience, with games and activities including twelve lanes of bowling and a multitude of table games to large scale weekend performance events – it is also home to the city’s largest rooftop bar.
The PINS Social Club x So Lets Talk collaboration will take place on Random Acts of Kindness Day on Thursday, February 17th.
Those who scan the QR codes on the posters across the city will be eligible for a free game of bowling for two at PINS Social Club Liverpool on Thursday 17th February on a first come, first served basis.
