With its seven-day-a-week operation on Wallasey Road, Mt Everest has introduced something entirely fresh to the Wirral dining scene. Along with Indian favourites and chef’s specials, the cosy little gem offers interesting Nepalese fare including MoMos (dumplings) and Gurkhali Chicken. There are also plenty of vegan and gluten-free options, and excellent value and service.

Over the first 12 months, the restaurant has garnered numerous 5-star reviews on all platforms and consistently maintains a full weekend schedule. Takeaway and delivery have been popular, receiving a 4.9 rating on JustEat from many customers who praised the large portions and excellent value for the money.

Mt. Everest is rewarding customers with 15% off Sunday through Thursday from May 15th until the end of May after such a great first year. If you have already visited, the staff would like to thank you for your support; if not, now is the ideal time to do so! In the meantime, both collection and delivery of orders over £25 are discounted by 10%.

Owner Deepak Khadka said:

“I opened the restaurant last year to bring something different to the Wirral dining scene. It is a great honour for me to bring my native Nepal to Wirral and the feedback from customers has been amazing these past 12 months. It feels really special to be giving locals an authentic taste of our culture and cuisine — thank you to everyone who has dined with us.”

Along with their food, the restaurant wants to take customers on a unique dining experience by bringing them to Nepal through their décor, prayer flags, and traditional music. Mt Everest has been a welcome addition to the Wirral eating scene with its vibrant, tasty dishes that offer a cool alternative.

One diner recently said:

“Absolutely fantastic food, the meat just melted I my mouth and everyone in our little group was raving about the food, it was so delicious. The service was impeccable and so unobtrusive, such beautiful ladies that served us quietly with wonderful smiles. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and me and our friends will most definitely be back soon!”

Another said:

“Six adults all had different main dishes and a variety of starters. Not one complaint. Especially liked the naans and the large range of specialty dishes. Everything tasted fresh and served piping hot. Staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Mount Everest beer was lovely. We were served promptly even though the restaurant was a busy Friday night. We will definitely be returning.”
