Modo has been leading the way in Liverpool nightlife for almost thirty years, and this spring/summer, the venue is bringing its brand-new Coco Club campaign to Concert Square.
Operating from mid-April through the summer in collaboration with Southern Comfort, Coco Club exudes an air of serious vacation vibes, drawing inspiration from iconic party destinations like Ibiza and Tulum in Mexico.
Stepping through two enormous arches covered in palm leaves and bamboo, you can join your friends in one of the club’s tropical beach huts, which can accommodate six people each. The Modo app allows for quick table service, so you won’t even have to move from your seat at the crowded bar.
Modo has unveiled two exciting cocktail menus with an array of freshly made summertime cocktails, as well as an abundance of refreshing Spritzes that are ideal for those sweltering days ahead.
There’s brilliant deals to be had on both cocktails and spritzes from Sunday to Thursday, with two for £12, great if you’re on a little cheeky midweek night out or fancy a drink with friends after work.
The new Bombs menu, which includes premium Bombs made with AU Vodka and all the classic flavours, is also available for summer and is a great way to start a party!
Speaking of throwing a party, every weekend the Coco Club stage hosts live DJ sets in the square.
The venue’s basement club Paradiso is open after hours on Fridays and Saturdays until 4am!
To enhance the visual spectacle, there will be performers and dancers on the boardwalk and square on certain weekends. Additionally, a series of themed afternoon brunches will soon be introduced.
Feeling peckish with all this dancing? Don’t worry, Pizza Miki on the boardwalk has you covered with seasonal pizzas cooked to order and including vegetarian and vegan options.
Also on the Square opposite, is Happily Bubbly Shisha, with more than fifteen flavours to choose from.
Open seven days a week, entry to Coco Club at Modo is free every night of the week – booth and table bookings are highly recommended on weekends due to guest numbers and are subject to availability.
Beach huts are first come first served, and Modo even boasts the only glass terrace on Concert Square and is perfect for people watching, overlooking Coco Club revellers below, or catching some rays before the sun goes down – possibly the best seats in the house!
