Offering a garden full of ambiance while listening to some chilled-out tunes, you’re sure to wash away the hustle and bustle of the day. Also, with the bonus of a roaring BBQ on the go, and limited entry, the chilled out none overcrowding vibe, is a winner in the beer garden list.

Botanical Garden

Looking for a beer garden that’s got that quirky funky edge? Well look no further as the cool Botanical Garden is the one for you. Located in the heart of the popular Baltic Triangle, this hidden delight is the perfect setting to chill with the comrades on a sunny evening. This chilled out venue is a sun lovers delight as the garden captures the sun through out the day, and will keep you coming back for more as the summer draws upon us. With a drinks menu varying from cocktails to beers, the main poison of this joint is Gin. The Botanical Garden also offers great events such as an outdoor cinema, perfect for a chill with your better half or a mate date.

The Merchant

The Merchant is the cool but casual place to hang out once the sun has got its hat on. With food, drink and a roster of DJs that keep people coming back for more, this is one slick beer garden not to miss out on. Situated on Slater Street, the décor of this joint almost makes you feel like you’re on a European break, with the greenery, bar brick and raw materials. From craft beers, chunky burgers, cocktails and classic pizzas, The Merchant is the watering hole place to head this summer.

The Entry Bar

The Entry Bar is Liverpool’s newest bar which is located on the ever-popular Seel Street next to the Epic Hotel, this quaint but super fresh new outdoor watering hole serves up premium cocktails, spirits, wines and beers all while providing a fun casual ambience. With its eye-catching street art décor walls, fresh coloured furnishing and outdoor lighting and heating, The Entry Bar is the perfect spot to kickback and chill with good company while indulging in some of Liverpool’s finest cocktails.

The Pen Factory

Hidden away from the madness of the day’s hustle and bustle, the Pen Factory is a mid-summer oasis to visit. Located on Hope Street, the venue boasts a menu of fantastic food, amazing drinks menu and a great beer garden to relax and soak up the friendly atmosphere.. and some rays at the same time of course. So, whether this relaxed venue is a drop off point for lunch and a shandy, or a meeting point for friends and late afternoon drinks, this little sun trap is a must to visit this summer.

The Bridewell

Located at Campbell Square, the walled courtyard of The Bridewell has been transformed into a Victorian delight for visitors to pull up a seat and indulge in an array of hand-picked Gins. Gardeners have given the courtyard a lush green theme, with a living wall installed on one side and a wall of growing gin-related herbs on another. It’s all designed to add to the overall gin lovers’ experience, making it more than just a place for a quick G&T.

Red Door

Red Door have recently opened their exciting new venture Eden, a rooftop terrace bar which is the ideal way to soak up some rays while enjoying a tipple (or two). Offering a sumptuous, paradisal atmosphere complete with table service, what more can you want from a beer garden with a bit of class? With whitewashed brickwork, plush cushions, foliage and distressed furniture to create a luxurious ‘Instagrammable’ aesthetic, drink in the sun and have fun at this tranquil new little hot spot. Chilling on the soft lounge seating, a round of cocktails in flow, this little suntrap is certainly one to visit when the weather is sweet.

The Club House

The cosy cute venue is the ideal location when the sun is at its best, this little retreat style looking place will have you feeling your on vacay. The Club House offers not only a great selection of classic cocktails, world beers, ales and ciders, there is plenty of Champagne, wine and also a great selection of food from the all-year BBQ, rostisserie and deli to devour if feeling peckish! Cocktails and beers in sun on the first-floor terrace certainly sounds like a club we want to be in.

The Monro

Nothing is more chilling and relaxing then pulling up a pew in a beer garden filled with hanging baskets, colourful plants and a nice ice-cold pint. If this sounds like your idea beer garden experience, then you need to pay a visit to Duke Street’s favourite The Monro, when on your next Summer pit stop. The fact that many people do not know of the beer garden in the venue, makes it that bit more special and ideal for Summer night socials. The Monro also gives you the options to reserve your own table for a guarantee seat, so drink until the sun sets and your mind is relaxed.

Thomas Rigby’s

It wouldn’t be a beer garden pub crawl without a visit to the historic Thomas Rigby’s. One of the oldest pubs in the city, this popular pub is the ideal spot to indulge in some cask ales, UV rays and some great conversation. What makes this haunt great is the fact the beer garden is away from the hustle and bustle of the main city centre and let’s face it who doesn’t love being in historic surroundings when baking in the sun? Not only offering high end beer and hearty food, this Grade II listed venue makes you feel your in another century with its Victorian décor, pub and grub at its finest.
