Following on from the recent success of his colour-filled mural titled “TOGETHER” located on Jamaica Street, Liverpool Artist Sean Webster has now created a massive 8 shutter funky mural on The Bakery, Aigburth Road.

Bringing to life more of his iconic characters to the streets of Liverpool, Sean completed the mural over Monday and Tuesday of this week which has already gone viral on social media.

The interactive piece aims to spread the message of shopping local and coming together as a community and keeping independent shops like the Bakery alive. Along with Sean, Alan Gordon, the owner of the Bakery, encourages people to support their independents, be it shops, cafes, artists or small businesses.

This colourful new piece is a fantastic addition to Sean’s growing portfolio of murals and has taken social media by storm. The characters in the piece all link to a variety of local businesses that Alan also supports by supplying their goods in his shop.

Sean said “This mural has been just amazing to work on! I felt a real community vibe when I was out painting and that plus the reactions on social media… it’s been quite emotional to be honest. One post of mine alone that features this piece has reached over 100k people now, it’s unreal.

“The piece features so many new original character designs of mine! I’ve really been diving deep into gathering inspirational from the legends of the 80’s street art scene which really inspired parts of this piece!”
