Hawksmoor and Burnt Milk Hotel Celebrate English Wine Week

A celebration of English wine paired with British food will be happening on Tuesday, June 20, when Hawksmoor and Burnt Milk Hotel come together to celebrate English Wine Week with a three-course meal accompanied by five English wines.

Tucked away in a corner of the Albert Dock, Burnt Milk Hotel is fast becoming Liverpool’s coolest wine spot. All sourced from a handful of suppliers who pride themselves on being low intervention and environmentally friendly, Burnt Milk Hotel houses an extensive range of natural, organic, and classic wines, each with their own unique backstory.

To celebrate English Wine Week (19th – 25 June), the team at Burnt Milk will be selecting some of their favourite British wines and taking their stories over to Hawksmoor Liverpool, where each will be paired with one of Hawksmoor’s famous dishes.

The menu for the night consists of:

Drinks

NightJar – Pinot Noir

I’d Rather be a Rebel – Rosé 

The Mix up Volume II – White

Hattingley – Fizz

Major / Minor – Cider

Starters 

Old Spot Belly Ribs 

Smoked Mackerel Salad 

Spice-roasted carrots 

Mains 

Fillet 

T-Bone 

Bone-in Prime Rib 

Served with a selection of sides and sauces 

Triple-cooked chips, Macaroni cheese, Lettuce & herb salad, Mash & gravy, Béarnaise, Bone marrow gravy ·   

Pudding 

Sticky Toffee Pudding 

Blueberry & Lime Cheesecake

The event starts at 7pm and will be hosted in Hawksmoor’s Private Dining Room. 

Tickets for the evening cost £120 per person and include five drinks and three courses of food.
