GIN FEVER Liverpool

Friday 12th April – Saturday 13th April 2019

The wait is over! This April the much-anticipated GIN FEVER festival is heading to Liverpool from Friday 12th- Saturday 13th. Taking full advantage of the unique industrial setting in the heart of the much-loved Baltic Triangle, the main hall will be filled with an array of gin suppliers from across the UK and further afield.

The courtyard and outdoor terrace will host a cocktail bar and live music, also some of Liverpool’s and the UKs best street food vendors will be bringing some tasty treats to devour! There will also be a Pop-Up Gin shop to purchase your favourite tipples as you leave.

The bars will be stocked with over a 100 different gins ranging from London drys to old toms and wonderful gins with a twist from some of the best distillers in the UK! Tickets are priced at £15.00 and include Gin Guide book with masterclass timings, Festival Gin Goblet, complimentary Gin & Tonic and exclusive 10% discount from the online shop.

Bombed Out Church Beer & Cider Festival 2019

St Luke’s Bombed Out Church, Leece Street, Liverpool, L1 2TR

Thursday 11th April – Sunday 14th April 2019

Returning this April, the Bombed-Out Church Beer & Cider Festival is set to be bigger and better than ever! If you have never stepped foot inside the iconic St Luke’s or its gardens before, then this is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the historic surroundings while sampling some of the refreshing real ales and cider the festival has to offer.

Expect up to 150 real ales and 50 ciders, alongside boutique gins, continental beers, wines and prosecco. There will also be a range of local, independent food suppliers at the festival providing delicious food to help soak up the alcohol!

The festival will run from Thursday 11th – Sunday 14th with different sessions to choose from throughout the event. Ticket prices range from £5.00-£9.00, CAMRA discount available at certain sessions. All tickets include a colour programme and souvenir glass to take home at the end of the festival.

No under 18s are permitted into the event, if you are lucky enough to look under the age of 25 you will be asked to provide ID at the door.

Gin Party at Old Christ Church

Heading back to the perfect location, the new and improved Gin Party will be hosted at the Old Christ Church this May! The event has been updated to provide a new enhanced experience that is simply going to be Gin-tastic. This time around the setup is slightly different, offering you two great choices in tickets:

£9.00 Standard Ticket – includes your entry, souvenir glass and gin bible.

£14.00 VIP Ticket – includes complimentary welcome gin on arrival, reserved table/seat for you & your party, table service for all your drinks (no more queuing at the bar) souvenir glass and gin bible.

There will be a range of 25 boutique gins and cocktails, live music and entertainment and food from local food traders. The event will also have a small selection of wine, prosecco, craft canned beers and soft drinks on offer too so no-one goes thirsty!

With 3 sessions to choose from, this is an over 18s only event, anyone looking under the age of 25 will be asked to present ID upon entry.

Bordeaux Wine Festival 2019

Liverpool Waterfront, Liverpool

Friday 31st May -Sunday 2nd June 2019

Liverpool’s UNESCO World Heritage Waterfront will play host to the Bordeaux Wine Festival this May bank holiday weekend. Winner of NOEA Award’s Best New Event 2018, the festival will be making a return and will be once again transforming the stunning waterfront into a wine lovers paradise.

Inspired by the city’s maritime history as an iconic Port with historic and contemporary trading routes, the three-day festival will celebrate the Port of Liverpool as an arrival and departure base for world class culture, music, food, wine and art.

The festival will be taking place from Friday 31st May- Sunday 2nd June and will take you on a journey of Bordeaux discovery. from crisp Rosés through round Reds to sparkling Cremant – the best of Bordeaux’s diverse export will be available to enjoy. And in addition to your eight tastings, you’ll be able to purchase additional wine to savour at the festival.

Liverpool Craft Beer Expo 2019

Invisible Wind Factory, 3 Regent Road, Liverpool, L3 7DS

Thursday 27th June – Sunday 30th June 2019

Heading back to the city for 2019, the amazing Liverpool Craft Beer Expo will be bringing an incredible selection of beer, spirits, cider and food. The modern craft beer festival will be located at the Invisible Wind Factory and will be featuring the new breed of ground-breaking and innovative breweries from the UK, Europe and beyond. The festival will run over four days from Thursday 27th June – Sunday 30th June and is now in its 5th year.

Expo #7 returns on the back of the success of 2018’s festival, with the full programme to be announced soon. Ticket prices range from £12.50 per session to £35.00 for all sessions. Ticket price includes entry to the festival, festival map and branded festival glass.

Waterloo Beer Festival

Waterloo Road, Waterloo, Liverpool, L22 1RE

Thursday 4th July – Saturday 6th July 2019

The Old Christ Church will play host to the 15th Waterloo Beer Festival this July! Revelling in its popularity each year the event offers attendees the opportunity to try and taste up to 125 real ales, ciders and perries from microbreweries from all around the world.

Also available at the event will be an indoor Gin Garden which will boasts an array of boutique gins, spirits, wine and prosecco. There will be an option of sessions with Live music or if you would like to sip on your pint in peace, Friday’s daytime session is the one for you. Local independent suppliers will be at hand to provide some delish food to feast on. Ticket prices range from £5.00-£8.00 with tickets including entry and entertainment for the session purchased, as well as your own souvenir half pint glass and programme.

All halves of real ale are priced at £1.50, with halves of cider £2.00. These are payable with tokens and can be purchased once inside the event. All other drinks are payable with cash. This festival is run by Real Ale Events, and there is a CAMRA offer for all card holders who show a valid, in date card. You can receive a discount off a full card of tokens at both the Thursday evening and Friday daytime session.

The event has different sessions dates, times and prices with tickets ranging from £5.00-£8.00, no under 18s will be permitted into the event.

Gin & Rum Festival Liverpool 2019

Friday 26th July – Saturday 27th July 2019

The UK’s largest Gin & Rum Festival tour is heading to Liverpool this July, bringing over 60 different Gins and 60 different Rums all under one roof!

Be prepared to be spoilt for choice in this gin & rum lover paradise from Friday 26th-Saturday 27th July at the Crypt Hall. Tickets are priced at £12.00 (PLUS BF) and includes a branded Copa glass, guide and glass satchel, which are all yours to take home. The guide showcases all the products and where you can find them, with some exclusives to the festival.

The event will also host talks and master classes, live entertainment and an award-winning resident DJ to dance your shoes off to throughout the session.

To purchase drinks, you must purchase tokens at the top up station as bars do not take cash, drinks are £5.00 each including mixer/tonic. Soft drinks and mixers are FREE and unlimited. Strictly over 18s event.

Liverpool Whisky Festival 2019

This November will see the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral play host to the Whisky Lounge’s legendary Liverpool Whisky Festival!

Back bigger and better, the festival allows attendees the opportunity to sample the best home-grown whiskies from Scotland, as well as all corners of the globe. The Liverpool Whisky Festival attracts the finest distillers from as far afield as Taiwan, India, Japan and the USA.

The festival invites you to simply approach any of the exhibitors stands, ask politely for a dram and you shall receive a tasty glass of whisky! Every exhibitor knows their whiskies inside out, so its worth taking advantage of this knowledge.

Split over two sessions, the first session offers two ticket types, the full session ticket and taster ticket. Full session tickets are priced at £40.00 and include entry to one session (either 12-4pm or 5-9pm), Glencairn tasting glass, Festival guide, ALL whiskies sampled in the main hall (not including under the counter drams) and water on tap. The Taster tickets are priced at £20.00 and include entry to first session 2-4pm, Glencairn tasting glass, Festival guide, ALL whiskies sampled in the main hall (not including under the counter drams) and water on tap.
