In an exciting partnership, bar and eatery Frederiks has joined forces with the team from Bean Coffee to bring a brand new coffee and food offer to Hope Street, the Georgian Quarter and the wider city.

Celebrating its tenth anniversary this year Frederiks has built its reputation on superb food and drink including award-winning cocktails and a legendary Sunday roast, along with championing live music, being the true home of Liverpool Jazz and the popular Hope Street Jazz music events which run three nights a week.

Bean Coffee is an independently owned, Liverpool based speciality coffee roasters that was founded in 2008, down at the historic Brunswick Dock. They launched their own roastery in 2016 and since then have been perfecting their roasting and brewing, whilst operating a number of shops located across the city and the North West.

Operating from Frederiks and launching on Monday March 6, the alliance between the two hospitality favourites will be marked by a first-come first-served give-away free coffees all morning, along with the introduction of a brand new breakfast and brunch menu.

Bean will be serving 8 of their single origins, including their classic Brazil DBarbosa as well as their newest single origin the Colombia Camilo Enciso Geisha. Keeping everything local, these will be served alongside other local producers like LEAF tea, William Fox Syrups, Blendsmiths and Kokoa single origin hot chocolates.

In addition, a range of coffee-based cocktails have been developed using Bean single origin cold brew concentrates, including an Ethiopian gin & tonic negroni and a Kenyan white Russian.

Frederiks brand new brunch menu includes Fred’s Breakfast a slap-up ‘full-English’ stye along with a vegan option, Sausage, Eggs & Homemade Hash, childhood favourite ‘Dippy Eggs and Soldiers’ plus a selection of breakfast sandwiches to eat in or take-out.

Speaking about the collaboration, Adam McEvatt, General Manager of Frederiks said:

“We’re excited to work jointly with our friends at Bean, both of us share a reputation for delivering quality products and when we started to explore the new partnership it was clearly a perfect fit. It’ll be great to welcome existing and new customers through the door and give our neighbourhood a new daytime space option where you can socialise or happily work.”

Leah Abdallah, Community Manager of Bean Coffee added:

“We are proud of being from Liverpool, and we are excited to be able to partner with a well-loved local business such as Freds. It was clear from the get-go that our brand values aligned, and we are really looking forward to working together.”

Frederiks X Bean coffee and brunch service launches Monday March 6 and runs from 8am – 4pm Monday-Friday, and 9am – 2pm on Saturdays.
