Formby Red Squirrel Reserve is run by The National Trust and is famous for its red squirrels which are accustomed to being fed and are very tame. You can also walk along Formby’s glorious beach and the dramatic sand dunes.
Nice easy local walk that everyone can do. Starts off going through the woods and leads onto a little walk along the beach.
Really good place to walk the dogs. Well pathed and plenty of ways to go and explore.
If you’re lucky you’ll see some squirrels along the way. Lots of bench’s to have a little picnic. Boots recommended as the path can get muddy.
