With Spring Fast approaching, Liverpool is set to be jam packed full of festivals! Food and Drink festivals are becoming more and more popular whether it be a day out with friends, family or your loved one, what better way to spend your day/weekend than indulging in some great food, music and drink! Explore the different types of festivals showcasing across the city and its regions this year and add them to your plans these coming months.

Fit Food & Beer Festival

Saturday 31st March 2018

Mad Hatter Brewery, Lightbody Street, Liverpool, L5 9UU

Happy Go Cooking will present their event Fit Food & Beer Festival on 31st March, located at the Mad Hatter Brewery, Lightbody Street. This fantastic festival will consist of Mad Hatter boss craft beers paired with Soul Fillers scrumptious grub! So grab your glass, fill it up at the bar with a Mad Hatter bevy of your choice, then head to the food bus where Soul Fillers will be waiting to help you choose the flavours to add to bring your beer alive!  Tickets are priced at £11.26 and included in this is your first beer and food pairing. Enjoy plenty of live music plus the Mad Hatter resident DJ will be playing some funky tunes all day! Kids can also get involved with a kids corner, face painting, drumming and ukulele classes, so come and join the fun!


Wirral Easter Beer Festival

Thursday 29th March – Sunday 1st April 2018

Hulme Hall, 23 Bolton Road, Port Sunlight, Wirral, CH62 5DH

This Easter weekend we see Hulme Hall filled to the rafters with beer from across the world for the 8th time! The venue will have 100+ real ales local brews and nationwide, alongside Flagship ales. The ever growing craft market will be represented by another 100+ beers in keg, cans and bottles. There will also be a range of continental and world beers, some old favourites, some new recipes, something for everyone. Not forgetting the 50+ ciders perry, mead and fruit wines to compliment the range. A full spirits bar will be there for anyone who has had enough beer and a secret Gin bar for the first time. Throughout the event there will be live music and food available.

Liverpool Spring Festival

The Liverpool Spring Festival returns this April to celebrate the birth of Spring! Join in and embrace the season of new beginnings at the beautiful Sefton Park on 28th and 29th April. The event lets you engage in crafty workshops, partake in gardening sessions, try out some yoga and some head space meditation sessions.

Liverpool Spring Festival is not just an excuse to feed yourself until you physically combust, but an opportunity to seek inspiration and indulge in some salivating street food.

Liverpool Vegan Festival

Vegan Events UK will be hosting the Liverpool Vegan Festival at Mountford Hall this coming May! The festival will consist of 100 stalls including cooked raw foods, pies, cakes, chocolates, sandwiches and salads, beauty and skincare products, candles, preserves, cheeses, jewellery, crafts, healthy treats, sweet treats, clothing, drinks, juices, smoothies, charity merchandise and so much more!

This fantastic event will be taking place on 5th May and standard tickets are priced at £3.00 entry fee, under 16’s gain free entry. VIP tickets are also available which include fast track entry, a goody bag full of products, samples, discount and special offers. Take part in a day full of nutritional advice, cookery demos and inspirational talks and workshops.

Pizza & Prosecco Festival

Waterloo Beer Festival

Thursday 5th July – Sunday 8th July 2018

Old Christchurch, 11 Waterloo Road, Waterloo, Liverpool, L22 1RE

Head down to the Old Christchurch this July and be a part of the 14th Waterloo Beer Festival! There will be up to 150 real ales, ciders and perries available from microbreweries from all around the UK. On top of this there will be an Indoor Gin Garden boasting an array of boutique gins and spirits, wines and prosecco. If all of this hasn’t tempted you already, how about some live music to get you in the spirit! Or, if you’d prefer to sip your beers in peace then Friday daytime’s ‘Music-free session’ is the one for you.

There will be food available from local independent suppliers to cure rumbling stomachs over the weekend. All tickets include entry and entertainment for the session purchased, as well as your own souvenir half pint glass and colour programme. All halves of real ale are priced at £1.50, with halves of cider £2.00. These are payable with tokens and can be purchased once inside the event. All other drinks are payable with cash.This festival is run by Real Ale Events, and have a CAMRA offer for all card holders who show a valid, in date card. You can receive a discount off a full card of tokens at both the Thursday evening and Friday daytime session.
