Santa Maluco

Castle Street is on fire at the moment, all thanks to the many boochie bars and restaurants cascaded across the area. One in particular is the hip, art filled Brazilian pizza haunt – Santa Maluco.

Bringing you all the flare and pizazz of South America combined with rustic Italiano wholeness, this Rodizio pizzeria and snazzy cocktails restaurant will leave your taste buds tantalised.

The venue is picture perfect, with visual art and graffiti donning the walls adding that Columbian cultural vibe. Santa Maluco’s set up is authentic, whether you choose to dine inside or out in the sunshine, this place takes you a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of the city, making it the ideal location whatever day of the week.

So, what is so enticing about Santa Maluco you ask? Well to ask the question you clearly haven’t paid this little firecracker of a venue a visit! The Rodizio ‘all you can eat’ style of restaurant service, which is commonly known for in Brazil, involves the servers bringing guests several samples of pizza throughout the meal until they signal that they have had enough. Also ensuring all guests receive their sweet and savoury fix, Santa brings their home-made dessert pizzas to eat until your stomach is full and you heart is content.

If you’re a more traditional type service guest, not to worry rather than pizza served  by the slice you can request the full 18 inch to be served up.

Not sold yet? You soon will be when you hear of the many deals and offers you can indulge when visiting including – from Sunday-Wednesday for just £10.00 you receive a huge 18” woodfired pizza or maybe you want to take advantage of the massive Thursday Combo deal for £20.00 which includes an 18” pizza a nibble & a side! What are you actually waiting for?!

The drinks menu is something else, from the array of cocktails such as El Diablo, Santas Swizzle, Dirty Mexican and Bubble Gum Sours this list of cutting-edge mixology packs more than a punch and is sure to satisfy on a hot day or cool night. If you enjoy a nice cold schooner to wash down your slices of heaven, the venue offers a cool selection of draught, cans and bottles such as the Spanish Moritz and Brazilian Brahma. From $5 dollar shakes to the Passionfruit Zombie, the Santa’s Classics list is a ‘must try’ on your visit.
