Splash Tours Liverpool will launch to the public on Friday 2 August 2024 and run six tours daily from Wednesday to Sunday, taking in sights such as the Royal Liver Building, Liverpool Cathedral, Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral, and the iconic St George’s Hall, before returning to the world-famous dock with a splash, showcasing the sights of Royal Albert Dock, Salthouse Dock, Canning Dock and Wapping Dock.

Following seven years of design and development and months of in-depth testing and surveys, Splash Tours Liverpool is at the cutting edge of amphibious vehicle innovation and is ready to share the excitement of seamless land and water travel with its passengers.

Ed Lumley, co-founder of Splash Tours Liverpool, said:

“I have been in love with Liverpool from a young age and it’s been a dream for nearly ten years to bring our amphibious tours to this great city.

“We’re hoping that the Splash Tours vehicle will be a much-loved feature of Liverpool’s world-leading visitor economy for many years.

“I can’t wait to share our unique offering with the people of Liverpool and its visitors.”

Sean Morrison, estate manager at Royal Albert Dock, said:

“It’s wonderful to add Splash Tours Liverpool to the growing list of vibrant attractions available at the dock.

“In a city steeped with history, we’re delighted to be part of a unique experience that allows visitors to immerse themselves in Liverpool and provides an exciting opportunity to see the iconic waterfront like never before.”

Andrea Barrett, partnerships and funding manager at Canal & River Trust, said:

“It’s great that Splash Tours is the latest new tour operator coming to join the already thriving community of leisure craft – such as trip boats and floating restaurants – on and around Canal & River Trust’s water at Royal Albert Dock.”

Tickets are priced from £14 (free for under 2 year olds) and are available by visiting the website.
