One of the North West’s biggest celebrations of Bavarian culture, Oktoberfest, is coming back to Liverpool later this year.
Oktoberfest Liverpool is a two-day extravaganza featuring live music, steins of beer, bratwurst, pretzels and plenty of lederhosen.
The event’s return on 19th to 20th October follows a successful indoor debut last year where thousands of people joined in the fun at the city’s waterfront Exhibition Centre.
Paul Laing from Oktoberfest Liverpool said:
“After last year’s success, we’re again looking forward to bringing a taste of Munich’s famous festival to the Liverpool waterfront.
“With one of the biggest bars, a themed funhouse and more surprises to be announced in the coming weeks, it’s already gearing up to be a fun weekend with a Bavarian twist.”
Colm Graham, Head of Partnerships, Hospitality and Exhibition Sales, at ACC Liverpool said:
“We’re delighted to welcome back Oktoberfest Liverpool for what is becoming a key date in the calendar for people to dust off their lederhosen and enjoy a fun-filled,Bavarian knees up.
“It may be October with the unpredictable British weather, but that’s why holding the event in a climate controlled, safe environment has proved so popular for thousands of attendees.
“With live music, traditional Bavarian fayre and party games it’s going to be an experience not to be missed.”
Sessions take place on Saturday and Sunday with more details to be announced.
