Gino D’Acampo’s Old Hall Street restaurant has unveiled a new menu that is perfectly suited to the changing seasons.

Using the best of autumn’s ingredients, the new menu offers a variety of comforting dishes that promise to warm the soul as the temperatures drop and the nights begin to draw in. All are inspired by the acclaimed Italian chef’s extensive travels, and include a number of Gino’s own family favourites.

Cozze con crema al vino bianco, mussels cooked in white wine, garlic, and cream (£11), is at the top of the list of new seasonal dishes. It’s a standout dish that pairs well with a crisp glass of wine and comes with plenty of fresh crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce.

A rich and warming risotto al funghi (£16.50) returns to the menu for 2023, celebrating autumn’s woodland flavours. The luxurious risotto, made with porcini mushrooms, butter, pecorino, and arborio rice, is finished with a drizzle of truffle oil for an extra indulgent bite.

Fettuccine con salsiccia (£17.50) is another seasonal highlight that is back by popular demand. It’s a satisfying dish and a crowd-pleaser, thanks to the inclusion of great-quality Tuscan sausages and cooked in a creamy ragù made with mascarpone cheese.

Pizza lovers will be pleased to learn that a beautiful new addition to the menu, pizza margherita con burrata (£15), has been added. This pizza is simplicity at its best, with Gino and his esteemed team of chefs opting to use burrata, a smooth and creamy Italian cheese with a very subtle tang, rather than mozzarella, to create the queen of all pizzas.

The paté di fegato di pollo, chicken liver pate with mustard fruits and sage (£11), is ideal for those looking for a lighter bite. It’s a luxurious first course or, if you prefer, a dish to be enjoyed on its own, served with toasted ciabatta freshly made in-house by Gino’s highly skilled team of bakers.

The Nutella calzone (£8.95) is back at Gino’s request and a firm favourite of his youngest child, eleven-year-old Mia. It strikes a pleasing balance of savoury and sweet and is the perfect complement to any meal, made from hand-stretched Neapolitan pizza dough and served with a drizzle of Nutella, caramelised banana, and toasted hazelnuts.

The new dishes complement the restaurant’s extensive bambino, vegetarian, gluten-free, and vegan menus, which cater to all tastes.

Sibling venue 360 Sky Bar is the ideal location for guests looking to enjoy a pre- or post-dinner drink, serving world-class cocktails alongside unrivalled panoramic views of Liverpool and beyond. On the 18th floor of INNSiDE Liverpool, the atmosphere changes throughout the day, with the chic venue’s resident DJ spinning the best beats until the early hours. Guests can enjoy complimentary cicchetti to accompany their drinks and, arguably, the best sunsets in the city between 5pm and 7pm, aperitivo time.
