The award-winning dining, retail, and leisure operator BOXPARK will launch a brand-new venue in Liverpool, the first BOXPARK-branded project outside of London.
BOXPARK Liverpool will be a brand-new all-day dining and entertainment venue situated in the historic Canning Hall as part of the Cains Brewery Village estate, in the city’s thriving Baltic Triangle.
The venue, which is scheduled to open in late 2023, will offer a lineup of entertainment in addition to being an exciting and vibrant addition to Liverpool’s bustling food and drink scene.
The site will be transformed into a stunning food hall and events destination with a large internal space with units set over the ground floor, a small internal mezzanine, and an external terrace after BOXPARK and Cains Brewery Village obtained a 15-year lease agreement.
The proposed BOXPARK Liverpool will have around 10 kitchen units, three internal bars, and additional external bars, covering a total area of 16,000 square feet and accommodating 400 internal covers plus 200 external seats. Additionally, a 5,430 square foot outdoor terrace will offer al fresco dining and intimate events.
With fantastic opportunities for both independent and established food operators, as well as artists, creators, and performers from Liverpool, BOXPARK’s new venue seeks to champion local businesses and talent. BOXPARK is well known for its diverse street food offering, independent retailers, and iconic events.
Over 150 jobs are expected to be created by the new project, and BOXPARK will work closely with Liverpool City Council to promote local supply chains and recruitment.
BOXPARK Liverpool will be the first of its kind outside of London adding to the three current sites in Shoreditch, Croydon and Wembley.
