Its Festival fever this weekend, from virtual gigs, performing arts to live streams make sure you’ve got your dancing shoes at the ready.

The Bombed Out Church will play host to Liverpool Ignitus Festival of Performing Arts, ‘Rise of the Phoenix’ this bank holiday weekend, a family-friendly event is all about positive movement.

Taking place on Saturday 29th August, the event starts from 1.00pm, experienced practitioners will teach Circus skills, Yoga and Dance safely, in socially distanced workshops. Following on, the team behind Ignitus will treat their audience to a lustrous evening programme, showcasing some of Liverpool’s finest performers.

Virtually International Beatleweek

Thursday 27th August – Tuesday 1st September 2020

International Beatleweek returns to the city with a slight difference, this year the weeklong festival will be virtual!

Thursday 27th August, the Cavern Club will welcome back customers to enjoy a drink and watch pre-recorded live performances from Beatles tribute acts from all around the world, in the place where it all began for the Fab Four.

The club aims to provide top tier entertainment from bands and artists from over 20 different countries to reduced audience and to fans all over the world via social media.

The Cavern will be open to visitors from 12pm until 10pm from Thursday 27th August -Tuesday 1st September with a full schedule of live performances shown simultaneously on giant screens on both The Cavern and Live Lounge stages as well as The Cavern Pub and Facebook. 

Bookings do not currently have to be made to visit the Cavern during ‘Virtually Beatleweek’ but customers should check the â€˜Know Before You Go’ information on the Cavern’s website www.cavernclub.com before they come, to find out more about what measure will be in place and what they can expect from their visit during the pandemic.

Liverpool Digital Music Festival 2020

After their successful inaugural ‘lockdown’ event in May this year, Liverpool Digital Music Festival are back this Bank Holiday Weekend!

The team are bringing their first free live streamed music festival from venues across the city!

The event will be taking place on the 29th-31st August over the Bank Holiday, with the headline stage held at the M&S Bank Arena.

The festival is a celebration of Liverpool’s music scene, bringing artists together for a unified good cause, bringing a fresh perspective to live music during the current Covid crisis.

In addition to the M&S Bank Arena headline stage, city centre independent venues Jacaranda Phase One, E.B.G.B.S and The SAE Institute will be featured on the line up.

The charities being supported by the festival are Claire House Children’s Hospice, Mary Seacole House (Granby Community Mental Health Group) and Merseyside Youth Association, with donations for the organisations handled via Ticket Quarter.

Creamfields House Party Edition 2020

Creamfields may be cancelled this August Bank Holiday, however, the team behind the award winning festival will be delivering the next best thing by bringing the festival to fans living rooms for the ‘Creamfields House Party’ 2020 edition on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th August!  

With a stacked line up for the 2 day virtual festival, Cream HQ have raided the vault and cherry picked some of the best sets from Creamfields over the last few years which will feature performances from the likes of Alan Fitzpatrick, Annie Mac, Armin van Buuren, Axwell & Ingrosso, Bicep (DJ Set), Camelphat, Carl Cox, deadmau5, Denis Sulta, Duke Dumont, Dusky, Faithless (DJ Set), Fatboy Slim, Fisher, Galantis, Hardwell, Hot Since 82, Jamie Jones B2B Green Velvet B2B Patrick Topping, Luciano, Martin Solveig, Mistajam, MK, Nicky Romero, Nicole Moudaber, Oliver Heldens, Pan Pot, Pete Tong, Solardo, Sven Väth, Tchami, The Blessed Madonna, Tiësto + more 

The Creamfields House Party kicks off on Saturday 29th August from 14:00-02:00hrs and Sunday 30th August from 12:00-23:00hrs and streamed via www.creamfields.com/houseparty.  Fans can also watch via YouTube, Twitch and Beatport, and all those joining the ‘house party’ will get the chance to enter an array of exclusive competitions across the weekend with tickets and money can’t buy prizes up for grabs.
