Home to a medley of interactive experiences and brain-stimulating
workouts, Quirky Quarter has now reopened and invited NHS staff and emergency services workers to their big “Reopening Thankyou.”
Situated at the top of Duke Street, on the ground floor of The Arch, what was once the Scandinavian Hotel, the venue offers puzzling challenges and oddball photo opportunities.
A unique, fun-filled destination for all ages, Quirky Quarter is set within 13,000 square feet of open plan space. The destination offers a way for social bubbles to socially connect at a time of physical distancing.
Some 200 key-workers visited with their friends and families free of charge. The four days, between Thursday 9th and Sunday 12th of July, were quickly booked out. Around a thousand people arrived in their bubbles, for some well-earned downtime and social reconnecting, with some quirky challenges and fun.
The team at Quirky Quarter thanks everyone who came up, for their hard work and sacrifices over these last months; and also for also giving the safety measures and tweaks a test run. Thanks for the vote of confidence and thumbs up.

General entry begins on Tuesday 14th July. To assist with physical distancing, entry capacity is being regulated. Online booking is preferred, and guarantees an exclusive arrival slot for social bubbles.
