Movema is offering its acclaimed schools resource ‘World in a Box’ on a new online educational platform for FREE to schools, communities and anyone with a passion for dance and culture.
The world dance experts have worked with teachers for the past five years to develop this unique resource which increases confidence, tackles obesity, improves mental health and gives children an understanding of UK diverse communities and cultures from around the world through language, geography, history, STEM subjects and of course, dance.
This resource, funded by Arts Council England and LRC Activate at JMU, is available for schools, communities and parents, and includes:
- Resources developed with teachers and award-winning world dance company Movema
- Videos and music to download or stream
- PDF lesson plan builder that automatically inputs learning objectives
- Active mins tracker to measure development
