Duke street has opened the first phase of Liverpool developers Andrew Spencer, Tom Bower and Michael Conolly’s newly awaited Lock and Key.

The bar and kitchen of Lock and Key is now open for business which offers daily breakfast, lunch and a delicious menu designed by local chef Jen Peers.

What makes this place so elegant yet quirky? The building was an abandoned grade II listed property that had been empty for over a decade! The owners have breathed new life into this tranquil boutique. Mixing up original decor with modern. The venue is stunning from the original Georgian shop front windows, stripped back exposed brick walls, sweeping staircases and the contemporary furniture from Lea Sloane, House of Sloane.

The bar offers an array of craft beers, wines and their very own special Lock and Key themed cocktail menu. The cool, chilled atmosphere is ideal for a sophisticated night out which will result in the Lock and Key becoming a great hot spot on the Duke street social scene.

Phase two of the development Lock and Key Hotel will be open for business in the upcoming months which will contain 14 beautiful boutique hotel rooms and 24 hour concierge. Each room will be designed to a high end, with quirky extras from cocktail trolleys to the option of personalising your own mini bar.

We can certainly confirm this will be the ideal location for a spectacular evening and overnight stay.
