FEBRUARY
Liverpool Beer Festival 2020
Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral, Liverpool
Thursday 20th – Saturday 22nd February 2020
Liverpool Beer Festival will be returning for February 2020 to the Crypt at the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral.
With the theme ‘The War of the Roses’ the festival will be packed full of over 200 Real Ales and challenges the brewers of Yorkshire and Lancashire to prove who’s best! Amongst the beers from other regions, the Lancashire and Yorkshire regions will pitch against each other in a bid to win attendees vote for beer of the festival.
The festival runs over five separately ticketed sessions over three days, with entertainment available on Friday and Saturday nights only. A festival glass and programme will be provided free of charge on entry to the festival.
Sessions run from Thursday 20th February through to Saturday 20th February, no under 18s will be admitted. If you’re lucky enough to look under the age of 25 please bring proof of age as you may be required to produce on the door.
No refunds will be given in cases where admission is refused due to an inability to produce it at the door. No Children or babies will be admitted into the festival.
Wheelchair access is available through the usual entrance, but you are advised to contact ahead of the festival to ensure the checking process is as quick and smooth as possible.
Ticket prices begin from £4.00 (plus BF) CAMRA members can claim a £3.00 FREE beer voucher at the cash desk on production of a valid Eventbrite ticket and membership card.

This May welcomes the Southport Food & Drink Festival to Victoria Park, a foodie’s paradise with a little something for everyone to enjoy!
If you love food then mark the 29th-31st May in your diary, as the event will be stimulating your senses!
Try food from different cultures – you can enjoy crepes, gourmet burgers, hot wings, churros, spiral potatoes, paella and curry from the Street Food stalls.
Tantalise the taste buds by sampling the different produce around the event – handmade cheeses, sausages, sweet and savoury pies, chutneys and pickles are just a few of the delights that can be taken home.
Traditional British food is celebrated throughout the street food and producers with homemade pies, chutneys, local sausages, hog roast, and ice cream from a local dairy.

If you haven’t been to one of the legendary Liverpool Whisky festivals before, then you are in for a treat!
Returning to the city on Saturday 19th September, the Liverpool Whisky Festival 2020 is set to be bigger and better than ever and expect a few more surprises…
You’ll get to sample the best home-grown whiskies from Scotland, as well as all corners of the globe. The Liverpool Whisky Festival attracts the finest distillers from as far afield as Taiwan, India, Japan and the USA.
Simply approach any of the exhibitors stands, ask politely for a dram and you shall receive a tasty glass of whisky (it really is that simple!). Every exhibitor knows their whiskies inside out and it’s well worth taking advantage of this knowledge.
